FORWARD IN REVERSE: Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek

Every so often I'll be dusting off some old interviews and posting them here under the title Forward in Reverse. These are interviews I've either never posted or I think are worth posting again. Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek died this week at the age of 74. I had a chance to chat with him years back when I was hosting the Wisconsin Guys program with Dan Deibert (you'll hear Dan's voice on this interview as well). I'm a HUGE fan of the Doors....so it goes without saying that I was super excited to chat with him. RIP Ray and thanks for the music!

Local film director and playwright Rob Matsushita stops by to talk film. We had a lot of stuff to discuss this time around so the podcast is a little longer than usual. We talk about the remake of Evil Dead, Rob Zombie's new movie The Lords of Salem, and the Netflix series Hemlock Grove.

FORWARD IN REVERSE: Actor Guy Pearce

Occasionally I'll be pulling some of my older interviews out of the vault and posting them here. Some of them have never been posted and some I think are worth sharing with you again. I'm calling these particular podcasts "Forward in Reverse". I never got around to posting this one back in the day. I talked with actor Guy Pearce when he was out promoting the movie Lawless. We talk about that film as well as his work with directors Christopher Nolan and Ridley Scott.

Lauren Drain is a young woman who spent her formative years in the Westboro Baptist Church before being cast out for challenging many of its beliefs. She is the author of "Banished", a book that raises the curtains on the WBC and it's message of hate.
